IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE, A CURRENT YEAR MEAL APPLICATION BY FRIDAY, AUGUST 30, 2019 YOUR STUDENT'S MEAL STATUS WILL BE CHANGED TO PAID AND YOUR STUDENT WILL NEED TO PAY FOR THEIR LUNCH MEALS. Every student enrolled in the South Bay Union School District will be given an application at the beginning of the school year. You only need to complete and return ONE application for all students living in the household.You may apply in person at your child's school office. We will be happy to assist you any way we are able. Free and Reduced Price Meals are available to families that qualify. All Students at the following schools received a meal application packet on the first day of school: Imperial Beach Charter, and Nestor Language Academy. Please complete the "Free and Reduced Meal Price Application Form." and return it to your child's school site. The forms can be obtained and returned (completed) to any school office. You will be notified by mail of your child's status. Until notification you must provide your child with a lunch or lunch money. Students may receive free school meals if you receive food stamps, California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) benefits.
